New national park on Nanda Country
Nanda Country is special. Found in WA’s Mid West alongside Kalbarri’s incredible landscapes like the Murchison River and Zuytdorp Cliffs: there’s nowhere else like it in the world.
Thanks to new jointly-managed national parks and reserves, 325,000 hectares of Nanda Country is now protected and will be around for the next generation to experience.
Congratulations again to Nanda Traditional Owners, Nanda Aboriginal Corporation, Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation, Premier Roger Cook and Environment Minister Reece Whitby MLA for this incredible achievement.
